On December 12, 2023, BIM Hanoi coordinated with TechData Vietnam company to successfully organize an online seminar “Application of Autodesk BIM solutions for design, construction and management of transportation projects in Vietnam” on the Microsoft Teams platform.
Coming to the conference were Mr. Hoang Van Cuong – Director of BIM Hanoi, Mr. Ngo Quoc Viet – Technical Director of BIM Hanoi, Mr. La Manh Thuy – Solution consultant for Autodesk Datech Solutions and a large crowd guests interested in the field of transportation construction. This event is a great opportunity for experts, engineers, managers and those interested in the field to exchange knowledge about innovation in the industry.
At the beginning of the seminar, Mr. Hoang Van Cuong provided a roadmap for applying BIM in Vietnam in the period 2023-2026:
Phase 1: From 2023, apply mandatory BIM for level I and special level projects
Phase 2: From 2025, apply mandatory BIM for level II and higher projects
Hanoi BIM expert, Mr. Ngo Quoc Viet introduced a set of BIM solutions for design, construction and management of traffic infrastructure to help improve quality, reduce design errors, and enhance collaboration ability between parties, thereby speeding up progress and minimizing costs. Autodesk’s BIM solution suite such as: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, IntraWorks, Revit helps build BIM models for traffic infrastructure projects intuitively, quickly with high accuracy, ensuring accurate volumes as well as support Export detailed drawings for the project.
At this seminar, Mr. La Manh Thuy – Autodesk Datech Solutions solution consultant also gave a presentation sharing about the Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro solution to support users in effectively managing collaborative design sharing. between departments as well as between relevant units participating in the project. Collaboration for Civil 3D makes real-time design collaboration between members even easier.
At the end of the seminar, guests attending the seminar exchanged and asked questions to experts to answer questions about the content surrounding the application of the Autodesk BIM solution suite.
Through the online seminar, all participants had the opportunity to directly interact and learn from practical experiences. This success is also a great motivation for BIM Hanoi to continue organizing experience sharing sessions with more useful information for interested customers.
